Welcome to St. Stanislaus Catholic School, where Christianity is not merely taught, but lived in our school, and our mission is to
"Teach as Jesus did."
St. Stanislaus Elementary School is a thriving, family oriented school, deeply rooted in the Catholic faith and traditions of it's founders. We offer affordable, quality education in a safe environment where our students are our top priority.
Our current facilities provide classroom space for preschool through grade eight. A fully-equipped science lab, library, and parish hall are also available for student use.
In addition to our regular curriculum of math, science, social studies, language arts, and religion, we offer a variety of special subjects through a cooperative effort with Hopkins Public Schools. These include art, band, choir, and physical education. Students also participate in the Holy Eucharist once a week.
St. Stanislaus School - Home of the Eagles - Come soar with us!
St Stanislaus School is steeped in a rich history dating back to the late 1880's. Our school began in what is present day Hilliards, when a group of Polish families settled and established the foundation for Catholic Faith, bringing with them values and traditions from their native Poland. Concern for their children's education was foremost, and so, before erecting a church, a small parochial school was built in 1885. the original structure served as both school and convent for the Felician nuns who arrived in 1887. The first principal was Sr. Mary Kunegunda.
By the 1930's it became evident that more space was needed to house the growing student population. Parishioners answered the call by organizing several of their famous chicken dinners, of which a portion of the profits was used to build a new school. In 1949, construction of the more modern facility began. The new building housed three classrooms, an office, library, bathrooms, and storage space.
The school did not achieve its present form until 1985, when construction of six new classrooms began. Completion of the addition provided room for growth as the school began to enter a second century of quality Catholic education.

"To Teach as Jesus Did".
Guided by Jesus Christ's teachings, St. Stanislaus Elementary School
is committed to the development and education of spirit, mind, and
body of each and every student.
In short, our mission is "To Teach As Jesus Did"
PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT
The educators, parents, and staff of St. Stanislaus School strive to
help each child develop God given talents to the best of his or her
ability. By providing various learning experiences, we endeavor to
reach the whole child spiritually, intellectually, physically, and
socially. Thus, each child will have the greatest opportunity to
become a unique, contributing, member of the community.
Following the methodology of Jesus, who began with the learners' own
context, we help learners discover truth for themselves. We take
advantage of teachable moments and provide our students with
opportunities to serve Christ in the world community. Christianity is
not merely taught but lived at our school.
We believe that parents are their children's primary educators. It is
our responsibility to support, assist, and involve parents in this
role by helping develop their children's academic skills, instilling
in them a sense of responsibility.
